The Opportunity: At Public Outreach our fundraisers take to the streets and shopping centres of Sydney city and suburbs, in teams of 2-4 to educate, inspire and engage. We speak with the general public and generate sustainable funding for charities. Our Sydney team are currently fundraising on behalf of the Australian Conservation Foundation and Make-A-Wish Australia.
We pay a hourly wage of $21.50 per hour, without any commission-based pressures to ensure honest and respectful interactions with the public. We have plenty of positions available now, with rapid career opportunities in our growing team!
Your duties will include: Interacting with potential donors face to face, On-the-spot challenges, Countering rejection with positivity, Inspiring people to donate to charity regularly, Meeting targets, Doing paperwork and handling personal information, You are: We are looking for outspoken, passionate, hardworking, socially aware people who want a job that makes a difference.
Our ideal candidate will possess: Passion, self-confidence and the gift of the gab, A great communicator, fluent English is a must, Passionate about social/environmental issues, Availability of 3-5 days per week with the hours of 9:30-5:30, We are: An international face-to-face fundraising agency with 12 years of experience and passion behind us.
