Tradewind Australia works across Victoria and connects experienced Social Welfare Professionals with organisations seeking experienced practitioners. We currently have a permanent (ongoing) opportunity for an experienced Alcohol and Other Drug Clinical Coordinator to start immediately on a full-time basis. This position is based in the Northern suburbs.

You will have a variety of responsibilities in this role including clinical supervision and support, guidance and development of up to 5 AOD Counselors, as well as providing individual and group counseling to AOD clients and their family members.

To be considered, it is essential you have the following: Experience implementing psychological interventions aimed at ceasing or reducing the use of Alcohol and Other Drugs. Experience providing clinical supervision to AOD Counselors. Demonstrable experience in addressing complex trauma and dual diagnosis issues. Development of treatment plans and ongoing client evaluation. Facilitation of therapeutic and educational group sessions.

Qualifications and other prerequisites: Tertiary Qualification in Social Work, Mental Health, Psychology or Nursing with experience in long-term care and complex dual diagnosis interventions, Diploma level qualification in AOD and Dual Diagnosis interventions, The right to live and work in Australia, Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain), Willingness to undergo a police check and provide 2 managerial referees, Forward your CV today to apply for this role!
