About the program: Hartnett House Children’s Centre is a 94 place centre providing a quality educational program for children from birth to five years of age. Hartnett House is a community-focused, warm, welcoming environment where the rights of all children and families are respected and valued. We foster strong collaborative partnerships with families to create individualized programs that are flexible to the educational needs of each child and that respect the values and needs of all families.

As a part of Melbourne City Mission Hartnett House Children’s Centre there is access to an Early Intervention Team that supports families with parenting support groups, and specialized practitioners including speech pathologists and occupational therapists to give every child the best possible start in their educational journey.

The purpose of the role: We are currently seeking applications from Cert III and Diploma qualified educators to work with our educational community.

Key Selection Criteria, Skills and Experience, Demonstrated commitment to providing a safe, caring, non-judgemental and supportive environment for children and their families, Knowledge of and commitment to the Quality Improvement and Accreditation system for Long Day Care centres

Current possession of the following: Cert III or Diploma in Children's Services, Level 2 First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis Training, Asthma Training, Current Working with Children Check, Position descriptions for both roles are available below.
