Veterinarian Consultant, University of Queensland Biological Resources, The role: The role as UQ Biological Resources Veterinarian is to perform a broad range of animal health services and will work in a combined research and training environment.  Veterinary assistance, advice and support are provided to researchers and Laboratory Animal Facility Managers. This position is also involved in the development of training courses designed for all animal technicians and researchers through demonstration and practical instruction.

The person: A Veterinarian, eligible to be registered in Queensland, with detailed knowledge and experience with Laboratory animals is required to oversee the UQBR Laboratory Animal Veterinary Care. 

Remuneration: This is a full-time, 3 year fixed term appointment at HEW Level 8. The remuneration package will be in the range $87,483 - $98,232 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $102,355 - $114,931 p.a.).
