Education: Completion of high school

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Major Work Area: Installation, Maintenance, Testing, Repair, Service
Area of Specialization: Television transmission cable systems, Television distribution systems, Associated cable systems hardware
Type of Equipment: Cable outlets, Splitters, Aerial and underground cable lines, Trunking systems, Amplifiers
Specific Skills: Connect, disconnect and relocate cable outlets, Inspect, test and repair cable signals and associated equipment, Maintain and repair aerial and underground transmission systems, Repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers and amplifiers
Additional Skills: Work at heights or in confined spaces, Instruct apprentices
Security and Safety: Bondable, Criminal record check, Driver's validity license check
