Oak Valley Estate – The Pool Room Restaurant – Front of House Manager. Oak Valley is a wine estate situated in the Elgin Valley, some 70km from Cape Town. The Pool Room Restaurant opened in 2012 and offers country-inspired cuisine with an emphasis on sourcing ingredients from the farm where possible, served with quality estate wines. Oak Valley is looking for a dynamic and vibrant Front of House Manager to commence employment during the 1st week of August 2015. Job Requirements: - Tertiary qualification in hospitality management. - 3 years’ experience in a hospitality management role - Successful candidate likely to be between 25-40 years old. - Marketing, financial & staff management skills - Friendly, charming and welcoming Key Performance Areas: - Maintains customer service of the highest standard - Staff management and training - Day-to-day organisation, admin and management skills associated with FOH - Financial acumen and marketing skills Salary is market-related. Accommodation option available. Applicant must have their own vehicle. The Pool Room is open for breakfast and lunch 6 days-a-week and dinner 2 days-a-week. There is a 2-month winter closing down period from 15th June-15th August.
