Medical Sales Representative, Job Purpose: Represents, Details, Sells and Delivers either Ethical or Proprietary products to Doctors, Pharmacies, Wholesalers, Specialists and Institutions (i.e. Mines, State Hospitals, etc). Maintains close contact with Customers
Required Learning: Ideally medical qualification or equivalent (i.e. industry training). Previous experience in the Dermatology sales environment will be an advantage. Sales experience, Computer literacy, Spreadsheets, MS word, Excel, Power Point and category and space management
Key Job Outputs: Thorough product knowledge of own and competitor products. Convince doctors, wholesaler, pharmacies of clinical benefits of products. Territory and time management. Ensure adherence to product marketing strategy through management of stock levels, merchandising, promotional activity at pharmacies, and dispensaries. Ensure adherence to current marketing code of conduct and legislation. Arrange guest speaker, venues, and invitations. Arrange registration of event. Attend CME’s. Deliver certificates for cpd points. Arrange and facilitate continuing medical education (CME) programmes for pharmacies, doctors and specialists. Understanding company policy and procedures and ensure adherence there to Complete expense claim sheets. Complete vehicle log books. Correct utilisation of customer relationship marketing.
