Remuneration: Basic salary between R7,000 and R10,000 per month with 5% commission on all deals concluded on leads generated. Deal sizes range from R20, 000 to R3, 000,000.
Purpose of the Job: A dynamic commercial property business development officer to join our vibrant team of brokers in generating sales and leasing leads
Main Functions: Generate 10 new leads per week, Obtain at least 10 lease expiries per week, Develop proposals for clients, Responsible for capturing client details on the system. Communicate leads with commercial property brokers.
Requirements: Min Matric and at least 2 years sales experience or exposure to a sales environment. A passion for sales.
Skills and Abilities: Highly client centric, Good written and verbal communication skills, Interpersonal skills and strong team focus, Attention to detail, Excellent telephone manner, Must be able to work under own initiative, Highly motivated, no fear of rejection, I focus less on experience of the candidates, and more on the passion and drive shown by a potential candidate. The main thing I look for is an individual who is going to fit in well within the current team. Team work and co operation is vital in our culture. The canvasser position can also be seen as an entry into commercial leasing, and this person would eventually evolve into a full time broker, concluding their own deals.
