Mine Manager, Chrome Mining Group is looking for an experienced and qualified Mine Manager for their Unit in Steelpoort in Mpumalanga.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To lead the Mining Team in the cost effective optimization and extraction of the ore body and to ensure compliance of provisions of the Mine Health and Safety Act, Minerals Act and it’s regulations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Mine Manager Certificate. Mine Health and Safety Act (3.1a) appointment. 8 Years relevant experience, preferably 2 year’s managerial experience.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead and align the Section with the Departmental SHEQ strategic direction. Manage performance against set targets and competencies. Assist in the control, management and direction of the underground working of the mine. Assist with compiling of the Mine strategic Plan. Manage Continuous Improvement through Operational Excellence.
