Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Shift

Education: Not applicable
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Welder Trade Certification, Welder Red Seal Endorsement
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Major Work Area: New fabrication
Type of Establishment/Work Setting Experience: Manufacturing, Industrial
Weight Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Specific Skills: Interpret welding process specifications, Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment, Operate hoisting and lifting equipment, Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment
Additional Skills: Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes, Layout patterns
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination
