Public Relations Account Supervisor – Bilingual

RIESTER seeks a Bilingual PR Account Supervisor for its Los Angeles office, proficient in the English and Spanish language.

Responsibilities include strategic counsel, planning and development, managing brand-based social media engagement programs and media relations for consumer packaged goods clients.

The successful Bilingual PR Account Supervisor is a detail-oriented, proactive professional with a passion and clear understanding of Hispanic communities in the U.S. with a sense of commitment to delivering appropriate, relevant, captivating communication on all channels to both Hispanic and general market audiences.

Requirements: 7-10 years experience in brand communication work, public relations role in corporate or agency environment preferred, Bilingual, written and spoken word (A writing test is administered in both languages as part of the interview process.), Experience in creating public relations plan and execution, developing (inventing) original public relations programs and partnerships preferred, Experience with social media campaigns as a collaborator or as a lead (i.e. invention, deployment, measurement and analysis), Ability to develop original editorial ideas and transfer these into publicity opportunities, as well as the ability to write supporting materials – press releases, pitch letters, info graphics and other news media materials, Proven experience in news media outreach and relationship management, Excellent communications skills, written and verbal, Strong project management skills, Bachelors degree in a related field is required, Problem-solving; original-thinking; roll-up-your sleeves spirit with the ability to meet deadlines

Responsibilities: Provide strategic PR counsel and planning, Lead integrated brand communication projects, Articulate and meet brand communication milestones, Contribute to comprehensive brand communication strategy, Foster client-agency relationship, Oversee brand communication on social media channels in collaboration with the in-house account team, Experience with metrics and measurement, Foster relationships with targeted news media outlets: business, consumer
