Location: Bemidji, Minnesota

Provide general reference services to students, faculty, staff, and community patrons, addressing research needs at the reference desk. Provide undergraduate library instruction in various disciplines in a classroom setting. In support of the university's academic curriculum, participate in library collection development and act as a library liaison to other academic departments. Participate in the selection of new reference materials and research databases for addition to the library’s physical and online collections.

Qualifications:  Master’s degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited program.

 Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

 Knowledge of the many and varied resources used in academic libraries

 Familiarity with information literacy standards.

 Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a collegial environment

 Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
