Hana sushi Japanese restaurant now looking for Sushi cook
We are looking for a Full-time Sushi Cook. We are popular and famous Japanese restaurant in Abbotsford and award winning for Abbotsford Business Excellence Awards 2012 presented by Chamber of commerce Abbotsford and The News Abbotsford. This is a great opportunity to join our excellent team!
Position: Sushi Cook (Permanent)
Address: 103-3240 304 Street, Abbotsford, BC, V4X 2M9
Compensation: $13.00~18.00 per hour (Depend on experience)
Hours: 40 hours / week
Benefit: 14 days paid vacation
Job Duties:
- Prepare Sushi, Sashimi and other Japanese dishes.
- Create high quality sushi including cooking rice, rolling sushi, temperature recording, cutting, packaging, labeling and date stamping.
- Determine how food should be presented, and create decorative food display.
- Ensure all operating standards including food safety and quality are adhered.
- Uphold and maintain food safety, high standards of sanitation and cleanliness of the sushi station.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to improve their culinary skills on preparing Japanese cuisine.
- Perform monthly inventories and training of new teammates as required.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of Sushi cook experience
- Fluent in English to communicate with customer
- Completion of High School
