Plant Accountant (UAE)
We have a vacancy for a Plant Accountant, to be based in Mussafah, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
SCOPE OF WORK
Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Main tasks and responsibilities include (but not limited to):
 Post the following transactions in the financial system:
 Service receipt vouchers, Inventory receipt vouchers, Inventory issuance, Supplier invoices, Petty Cash transactions, Staffs hire charges to fabrications orders, Plant hire charges to fabrications orders, Fixed assets receipt in CWIP. Custodian of petty cash float, Maintain update the desk procedures at all time, Completion of data as required, Perform quarterly stock counts for inventory. Prepare, analyze and monitor the following analytical reports, Vendors ageing and overdue payable, Inventory ageing, Items valuation impairment and amortization
 Stock valuation, Open receipts, Open LPOs, Plant income statement, Asset utilization and profitability, Asset capitalization and insurance, Working inventory amortization and recapitalization reports.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
 Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting;
 Functional Competencies: Good analytical and mathematical skills;
 Professional Experience: 5+ years in construction industry, ideally in foundation engineering;
 Language: Professional command of English is essential; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage;
 Computer skills: Proficient is Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel;
 Interpersonal skills: Quick learner, dynamic, problem solver, multi-dimensional thinker, likes to enquire; Results oriented and able to multi task; Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines; Good communication skills. stating the position "Plant Accountant [AUH-FMM-ACG-15]" in the email subject.
