Quality assurance inspector - steel mill (Certified Wheel Inspector)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day
Salary: $45,000.00 to $70,000.00 Yearly for 40 hours per week, Bonus, As per collective agreement
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Winnipeg and Area, Manitoba (3 vacancies )
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
Languages: Speak English, Read English
Work Setting: Steel mill
Specific Skills: Inspect products at various stages of processing to ensure adherence to specifications, Take samples of products during or after processing operation for routine analysis, Test products for strength, durability and conformity to specifications
Additional Skills: Complete inspection and test reports, Advise supervisor or process and machine operators of problems and product deficiencies
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination
