Industrial Mechanic
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, On Call, Weekend, Evening
Salary: $24.00 to $34.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week, Group Insurance Benefits, Pension Plan Benefits

Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): 4th Period Apprentice, Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Endorsement, WHMIS Certificate
Experience: Experience an asset
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Major Work Area: Machinery installation, Maintenance, Service, Repair, Overhaul
Area of Specialization: Assembling machinery and equipment, Installing machinery and equipment, Adjusting machinery and equipment, Fabricating machine parts, Start-up and testing, Shutdown operations, Renovating and restoring, Troubleshooting, Bearing, seals and packing, Levelling and aligning, Programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
Type of Industry/Work Setting Experience: Manufacturing
Type of Machinery or Equipment: Conveyors, Industrial and stationary engines, Pumps and compressors, Hoists and other lifting devices, Welding equipment, Electrical and electronic controls, Power tools, Fans and blowers, Hydraulic systems, Pneumatic systems, Power transmission systems
Specific Skills: Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions, Install machinery and mechanical equipment, Repair or replace defective machinery parts, Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up, Perform routine maintenance work on machinery, Assemble machinery prior to installation, Operate machining tools to fabricate parts
Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding
