Specific Animal Care Skills: Prepare food and feed animals, Clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stall and enclosures, Assist with inoculation and treatment of animals, Assist animal breeders to handle and nurture animals, Monitor and document animal behaviour
Weight Handling: More than 45 kg (100 lbs)
Additional Skills: Maintain inventory and order supplies, Keep records of animals treated
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, Physically demanding, Handling heavy loads
Other Languages: Spanish
Essential Skills: Reading text, Working with others, Decision making
Other Information:Applicant must be very experienced with thoroughbreds and their nature. Bathing, hot-walker, bandaging and saddling experience is mandatory. Onsite training will NOT be provided.
