Job Details: Senior Marine Compliance Officer - Urgently required for Oil & Gas Company in Dubai. Candidate should have Marine degree / diploma or equivalent with Master Mariner and/or Chief Engineer license. Must have 5 years’ experience on board Oil/Chemical/LPG/LNG Tankers; 5 years of Marine EHS experience with the reputable organization; 3 years onshore experience in marine inspection/surveys/management system related capacity. Knowledgeable in IMO (International Marine Organization) International Conventions (SOLAS, MARPOL) and applicable Codes (ISM, ISPS, STCW, etc.), OCIMF (Oil Companies International Marine Forum) issued Publications, Guidelines and Information Papers and Vessel Inspection Questionnaire (VIQ) in its latest revision. Certified lead auditor’s qualifications (ISM/ISPS Code, ISO, OHSAS, etc.), excellent communication and presentation skills are required. Computer literacy is a must. Excellent command of written/spoken English and analytical skills both in terms of data analysis and investigation are essential. SIRE accreditation Category 1 and Master degree in Shipping are preferred. Applications without reference (Ref: SH15015) will not be considered.
