Quality Control Manager, We are looking for a seasoned Quality Control professional who will develop and implement world class quality planning, quality control, inspections and testing and ensure continual improvement of product quality throughout the manufacturing process and continual customer satisfaction.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
QUALIFICATIONS
B.Sc (Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, IT or equivalent), Six Sigma (Green Belt minimum)
WORK EXPERIENCE: 5 Years’ experience in quality control in a manufacturing environment with management experience
KNOWLEDGE: Sound knowledge of ISO 9001, Quality planning and Engineering. FMEAs, Working Knowledge of quality improvement tools, Statistical Process control, Working knowledge of printing industry and optical inspection Systems
SKILLS: Good Computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Work), Good Analytical skills. Good communication skills. Problem analysis, Customer Focus
KEY PERFOMANCE AREAS (Not limited to):
QUALITY PLANNING AND CONTROL: Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection testing, and evaluation of product quality during production processes. Apply quality techniques (Six Sigma, SPC, Gauge R&R etc) to ensure the development of robust, predictive quality systems easily transferable and maintainable in a production environment. Develop and implement a quality control scorecard to communicate quality performance to management and staff. Ensure optimal functioning of the in-line and off-line inspection systems. Configure and manage quality control tools in printing, supporting processes and finishing department. Continuous Improvement. Facilitate investigations to resolve quality issues. Gather, analyze data and initiate improvement actions to achieve organisation’s quality objectives. Conducts and facilitate quality awareness sessions for process and product improvement.
FINAL PRODUCT INSPECTION: Develop sampling plans for final inspection and ensure final product inspection is conducted accordingly to approved sampling plan and defect catalogue. Analyse defects identified during final inspection and initiate improvement actions where necessary.
MANAGEMENT OF STAFF: Ensure that established Quality targets are achieved. Promotes culture of superior performance in the printing and related processes to ensure maintenance of high quality standards and reliability. Identifies quality training needs necessary for company’s superior quality performance.
