Position: Organic Farm Intern - May 1st - Fall (Can depend on availability of intern)

Seilern Farm is a 300 acre mixed organic farm near Kincardine, Ontario. We grow certified organic and biodynamic field crops (spelt, soybeans, corn, oats, peas) as well we have a 65 head cow/calf operation which we intensivly graze. We raise pastured chickens in chicken tractors. As well we run a small free range, heritage hog, farrow to finish operation. We market our different products through local, national and international markets.

We are currently looking for a responsible, energetic and fun intern for this summer season. This intern should be ready to work hard and have a good time too. We are willing and eager to provide a learning oportunity in all aspects of mixed organic/biodynamic farming. We are also open to a more senior intern trying out their own enterprise or managing one of the farm enterprises if the situation works.

We can provide private room and board on the farm. We eat great food and are close to the beach. A $400/month stipend will also be provided. We may be able to offer a senior intern with machine experience more. A canadian drivers licence would be an asset.
