Treasury Accounts Assistant | Financial Services

A global financial services company headquartered in Dublin city centre has an excellent opportunity for a Treasury Accounts Assistant to join their treasury finance team due to growth in the business.

Reporting to the Head of Treasury this is a great chance to join a specialised finance team in a dynamic and fast paced environment in a highly quantitative industry. It will suit a part-qualified ACCA or CIMA candidate who has a strong academic background, is highly numerate and motivated to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

    Assist in the preparation of treasury accounts, variance analysis and month end reconciliations
    Effective maintenance of correct record of invoices and payments
    Preparation of payment runs
    Posting of bank journals
    Cash flow forecasting
    Enforcement of internal controls - expenses, invoicing, receivables and purchasing

Key Requirements:

    Part Qualified or currently working in an accounts role and seeking to do an accountancy qualification

    1 – 2 years’ experience in similar role, with a background in business accounting to include month end accounting
    Financial Services experience is preferred
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    Excellent numerical and analytical skills
    Motivated to succeed and seeking to work in a dynamic environment with the opportunity for progression based on ability and work ethic
