Food Service Supervisor

Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school, Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Work Setting: Fast food outlet or concession
Supervisory Experience: Food service counters attendants and food preparers
Specific Skills: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, Establish work schedule, Estimate and order ingredients and supplies, Ensure food service and quality control, Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage, Prepare and submit reports
Additional Skills: Establish methods to meet work schedules, Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, Prepare budget and cost estimates
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Standing for extended periods
Ability to Supervise: 5-10 people
