Diesel Mechanic Helper

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time

Skill Requirements:

Education: Some high school

Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.): Driver's license

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Trades Helper Experience: Maintenance

Area of Specialization: Heavy equipment

Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Specific Skills: Move tools, equipment and other materials, Clean work areas and equipment, Perform miscellaneous laboring activities to help tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's license, Own vehicle

Work Location Information: Urban area

Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Communication, Problem solving, significant use of memory, Computer use, Continuous learning
