Software Engineer - Senior
BlueCat’s IP Address Management (IPAM) platform provides a rich source of network intelligence that solves a very real and rapidly growing problem in large scale technology infrastructures. Initiatives such as cloud, virtualization, IPv6, mobile and the skyrocketing growth of connected devices are putting enormous demands on the network and BlueCat is perfectly positioned to address these demands.

Your responsibilities:
• Contribute to the development and design of BlueCat’s solutions, within an Agile, team-oriented environment
• Collaborate with your peers, customer stakeholders and partners for technology/solution advancement and product delivery
• Participate in product discussions, influencing the development roadmap and taking ownership and responsibility over projects to make them happen
We want to hear from you if:
• You are a versatile developer, with the ability to pick up different languages, frameworks and techniques with ease
• You are comfortable working with and/or building RESTful APIs, managing databases and understand the challenges of scaling large applications
• You are a programming rock star in at least one language and are happy working in Java, JavaScript and Node.js amongst others
• You have excellent communication skills to collaborate in an open environment and across departments
Extra points if you have:
• Experience deploying applications in the cloud or micro-containers
• Solid experience in any of the following: MongoDB, Node.js, Docker, AWS, GCE, GAE, Go
• Experience developing software in an Agile environment
• A passion for learning the latest technologies and standards. If you have a long term personal project and/or have contributed to an open source project, please tell us about it.
