Test Analyst
Prizm Media Inc. is seeking a young, ambitious and driven Test Analyst with BA knowledge to spearhead our multiple projects currently in development. We are looking for someone who can multitask while working under strict deadlines. You have to be a team player and enjoy working in a tight-knit and family oriented environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business Analysis (40%)
• Develop functional specification requirements in response to requests for systems changes by the business leaders of the area served by the business analyst.
• Ensure the functional requirements of the business are met by the programs and programming changes that are produced by development staff in addition to content management changes.
• Support effort of ensuring the success factors of each project are met
• Demonstrate accountability in all assignments.
• Work in an effective team dynamic structure in order to develop deeper knowledge of product functionality.
Test Analysis (60%)
• Demonstrated experience with various project management and testing methodologies (Ex: Agile methodologies and supporting techniques)
• Articulate business needs into technical and functional requirements
• Develop and maintain test plans
• Coordinate test activities across partners
• Review QA documentation, including processes, test cases, test scenarios, and test data across partners
• Create automated testing tools, including reviewing scripts, analyzing test scenarios, and reporting results in general
• Develop and review test documents
• Track and resolve testing defects, remediation, and retesting
• Provide input into end-user training materials
• Analyze the various testing strategies and approaches
YOU:
• Have 1+ year experience in formalized QA/Testing strategy, processes, methodologies and standards
• Familiar with Agile frameworks and testing process implications
• Able to clearly articulate complex issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Demonstrated strong analysis, problem resolution, judgment and decision making skills
• Computer science background is preferred
• Strong negotiation and relationship skills
• Have a happy disposition & able to work independently
• Possess amazing communication skills
• Able to multitask
• Experience using CRM’s, reporting software and Excel.
