Oracle Technical Consultant

My Client a leading financial software company are looking for a Technical Consultant for their Dublin office. This role involves travel to client sits mainly in Dublin and Belfast.

The key purpose of the role is:

To provide technical support services to customers, on client sites and remote dial in. Task include installations, troubleshooting, problem resolution and maintenance of products and financial services ,

Responds to technical questions from customers and diagnoses;

Ensures customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventative maintenance and configurations that may favourably impact performance.

Main Job Responsibilities:

To ensure the clients technical infrastructure and associated environments are optimised and operating effectively.

Install and upgrade Oracle, a selection of operating systems and Integra.

To provide technical support to clients both on and off site.

Provide technical training and consultancy to clients.

Provide quality technical documentation

Job Requirements

Ability to travel around Northern/Southern Ireland, as well as the UK
for remote consultancy on clients sites.

Qualifications & Experience:

Oracle DBA skills

SQL

Windows and/or UNIX skills

Microsoft Tools

Valid Driving Licence

Oracle certification would be a benefit.

Clean Driving Licence
