Remuneration value up to $484 807 p.a. (L25 – L27) or Remuneration value up to $443 589 p.a. (L18 – L24), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%), annual leave loading (17.5%), professional development allowance, motor vehicle allowance, professional development leaves 3.6 weeks p.a., plus private practice arrangements.

Purpose of the role as a Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist Infectious Diseases you will be a valued and passionate team member.  You will work with the Clinical Director Infectious Diseases to deliver a high standard of care to allocated patients to ensure infection management services we provide are of the highest standard and delivered safely, efficiently and within the standards of the discipline and the ethics of the profession.

Your opportunity We are looking for a Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist Infectious Diseases to facilitate the delivery of high-quality care to patients of the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service. Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) evidence as required for your employment in accordance with legislation/government policy and Directives.
