About Us: La Maison du Patissier is a french patisserie/cafe located in Meridan Plains, 4551. Due to us extending our hours we are looking for an additional chef to work as part of our hard working and friendly team.

Hours: We are negotiable on hours however ideally after someone with avaliability from Thursday - Sunday (morning to afternoon only). If you have commitments on any of these days we can try and work around you! We are happy to employ you on a Casual or Permanent basis with around 30 hours a week on offer (negoitable)

Benefits: At La Maison we truely do have a fantastic team! We are willing to train up the right junior candidates, provide an apprentiship or allow an experienced chef a step up into a more senior role. You will work alongside Eric our 3rd Generation Patissier with the ability to learn how he works. This is a HUGE win given his international chefing experience including working at the Ritz!

Not to mention we have some pretty fantastic food and a great working environment.

About you! We are very open on experience for the right person! Wether you have worked in Cafes, Pubs or Fine Dining we believe attitude is the most important quality… Depending on your level of experience you will have the ability to learn our full menu of meals and take on an independent role in the kitchen if able.

The Role

Your job will vary with the following duties: Breakfast orders. Lunch orders. Speciality French food orders. Assisting with Cakes, Pastries and Breads. Creating your own dishes/specials. Providing input on the menu. Making your mark on the kitchen!
