Human Resources Assistant, Swillhouse. Sydney NSW. Consulting & Generalist HR (Human Resources & Recruitment). Full time. Swillhouse is looking for an HR generalist to help us build on our dynamic culture of professionalism, originality and fun. Swillhouse specialise in the craft of extraordinary experiences! We own and operate six game-changing venues and a print publication - Swill mag. Our venues are Shady Pines Saloon, The Baxter Inn, Restaurant Hubert, Alberto's Lounge, Le Foote and The Caterpillar Club. As the Swillhouse HR Assistant you will work with the People & Culture, and be responsible for much of the employee journey and coordination of the team's ongoing projects.

Some of the tasks include: Onboarding, offboarding and exit interviews. Scheduling and attending employee inductions. Conducting regular employee engagement surveys and follow up reporting. Recruitment support, CV filtering and reference checking. Scheduling and observing internal and external trainings. Assisting in disciplinary meeting preparation and follow ups. Conducting payroll audits. Maintaining WHS processes. Arranging office lunches and outings. Assist with lodgement of immigration and insurance documents. Other ad hoc administrative tasks all in keeping the People & Culture team at the top of its game.

This role is suited to someone with previous experience in an HR team and/or holds a relevant qualification, who is looking to build their career alongside a team of passionate people professionals. We are an expanding company and are excited to welcome someone who is looking to grow with our team.

Some other skills and traits we are looking for: Proficiency in all areas of Google Suite. Impeccable written and verbal communication. Excellent organisational skills and ability to work on multiple. Projects simultaneously. Attention to detail in auditing and onboarding tasks. Ability to work autonomously. A solutions based mindset and a generally positive outlook.

Ideally, applicants should have an abiding passion for restaurants, bars and the wider hospitality world.
