MobileMate SA is seeking a motivated and industry-experienced Front of House Sales and Receptionist Staff member to join our dynamic team at our reputable cellphone repair store. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations.

Position: Front of House Sales and Receptionist Staff

Location: Green Point, Cape Town

Employment Type: 6 Month Contract

Salary: To be discussed based on knowledge and experience

Non-negotiables: Experience in a similar industry is compulsory

Responsibilities: Greet customers and provide a warm and welcoming environment. Assist customers in diagnosing faults with their cellphones, tablets, and laptops. Provide accurate information about our repair services, including turnaround time and pricing. Effectively communicate with customers to understand their needs and offer appropriate solutions. Manage customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area. Coordinate with the technicians to ensure a seamless repair process. Process payments and maintain financial records accurately. Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and promote additional services.

Requirements: Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a cellphone repair store or a related industry. Proficiency in understanding and troubleshooting various devices, including cell phones, tablets, and laptops. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members effectively. Exceptional problem-solving abilities to diagnose faults and recommend appropriate solutions. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to handle customer inquiries and administrative tasks. The detail-oriented mindset to maintain accurate records and handle financial transactions. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Flexibility to work weekends and occasional extended hours as needed. High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
