Workshop, Site Manager for Joinery Company, Parow, Northern Suburbs. Company Name: lovett, co. is looking to fill a permanent position as a production/site manager. The ideal candidate would need to have 7+ years’ experience as a production/site manager at a joinery company. It is imperative you have the ability to schedule all upcoming work as this is vital to your role. If promise is shown by the candidate, a growth plan will be put in place to ensure the candidate is able to grow with the business. This will include relevant training.  Salary to be discussed on receipt of CV.

Tasks & responsibilities: Introduce/develope new systems and procedures. Ensure workshop is kept in good order and all equipment is maintained and calibrated. Monitor stock, hardware and consumable levels, final measure installation sites, produce cut lists when required. Meeting installers on site to discuss ongoing projects and ensure quality control. Manage projects from approval to final completion. Attend to manufacturing and installation from time to time when required. Monitor staff performances and ensure they are following company policy and procedures. Plan and schedule all upcoming work. Book installations with installers and delegate production to workshop team. Ensure health and safety

Requirements: valid drivers licence, own transport, computer literate, minimum 10 years experience in the joinery industry, minimum 7 years experience in a production manager / site manager role at a joinery company, sober habits, speak, read and write in fluent English, ability to identify, communicate and solve problems, ability to be a strong and motivating leader

High attention to detail, punctuality and reliability (coming to work each day and on time) is a MUST!
