Finance Clerk / East London - Our client is looking for an experienced Finance Clerk to perform a variety of administration duties as well as assisting the bookkeeper. Excellent organizational skills and accuracy are important qualifications for this position, as well as the ability to communicate clearly.

Minimum requirements: Senior Certificate. Basic Accounting experience - Debtors, Creditors, Recons, Journals. Reconciling accounts. Highly proficient in MS Excel, Word and Outlook. General Administration skills. Excellent numeracy, accuracy & attention to detail. Stable job history.

Duties: Send daily bank statement to all debtor’s departments. Control and manage claimed and unclaimed amounts. Send daily confirmation of amount to be receipted per branch. Management and control of company cell phones & staff deductions. Provide asset numbers and update as required. Std cost change reports into excel. Check and load all non-stock invoices. Check all creditors recons to payments sheets and sign off before submitting for payment. Assist with internal audit procedures. Monthly report on interbranch fuel expenses to bookkeeper. Capturing of daily banking disbursements for finance department. Pulling figures, compiling reports and marketing activities.

Salary: R12,000 (depending on experience)
