An exciting Permanent position exists for a Registered Nurse as a Co-Ordinator in a Retirement Village within the Tokai area. Duties include the following, but not limited to: Assist the Healthcare Co-ordinator to screen sub-acute patients in hospital prior to admission. Training and orientation of new staff. Medication Management. Daily clinic for village residents. Hombased care for village residents. Assist Shift Leaders on instruction from the Unit Manager in the healthcare as required. Handover. Administration. Emergencies. Annual visits to all village residents.

Requirements:  Registered Nurse qualification. SANC registered Experience and Knowledge. Experience in geriatrics, palliative care and dementia care, sub-acute, rehab, strokes, orthopedic. Care for patients with IV therapy / chemotherapy.

Skills and Attributes: Strong interpersonal skills. Professional communication. Ability to work under pressure. Managerial skills. Making sound decisions. Computer literate, professional, focused. Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English. Compassion for the elderly. Be able to converse with people on different levels - staff, families, Salary: Market Related.
