Debtors Clerk, East London, Eastern Cape. Company Name: Work Africa Recruitment. Debtors Clerk/East London – Our client is looking for an exceptional debtors clerk for an urgent appointment. Must have very strong debt collecting skills, stable job history and recent valid references.

Qualifications and Experience: Senior Certificate. Min. 3 experience in a Debtors function. A problem solver who is target & deadline driven and can “get the money in the bank”. Highly proficient in MS Excel, Word and Outlook. Excellent verbal & written communication skills at all levels in English. Excellent numeracy, accuracy & attention to detail. Stable job history. Exceptionally strong debtors’ collection skills.

Responsibilities: Reconciliation of debtors accounts daily/weekly/monthly. Collection of outstanding payments owed by debtors. Reporting of cash collections and outstanding debtors. Sending out of monthly statements to customers. Sending out of invoices / PODs when requested by clients. Resolving potential problems with customers. Dealing with clients with regards to outstanding debt and payments. Administration of Debtor accounts. Age analysis. Other general debtors’ duties. Salary – Market related.
