Medical Receptionist / Secretary: Job situated in: West Beach, Blouberg , Cape Town.

An excellent opportunity has become available to join a specialist practice within the medical industry, as a Medical Receptionist / Secretary. The role is based in Cape Town.

Requirements: Matric. Administration Qualification. Familiarity with phone systems. Managing a Medical Practice is essential. Experience working on medical billing software. Fluent in English and Afrikaans.

Responsibilities: Serve patients by greeting and helping them, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records and accounts. Billing, invoicing, statements, medical aid enquiries, month ends etc using medical billing software. Welcome patients and visitors in person or on the telephone, and answer or refer inquiries. Optimise patients’ satisfaction, by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone. Keep patient appointments on schedule by managing the diary. Dictation and typing of letters.

Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording and uploading personal and financial information. Obtain revenue by recording and updating financial information, recording and collecting patient charges.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 8AM TO 5PM. Excluding weekends and public holidays. Only genuine Candidate to apply. Salary in accordance with experience.
