Junior BIM Coordinator (R30 000p/m CTC), Bellville, Northern Suburbs. Company Name: DUT Projects. DUT Projects (PTY) Ltd has the following vacancy available Junior BIM Coordinator.  MEPF building services within the Construction industry, 5 or more years’ experience required.

Working on large scale projects like Data Centres as well as workshops. 

Responsibilities: Report to Senior Manager. Attend internal design meetings with engineers and clients. Prepare Construction plan from client BEP and specific training documentation. Work alongside engineers to plot information onto drawings. Coordinate and manage BIM project data sets/workflow and project set up. Produce drawing registers and issue slips. Co-ordinate services with architects, engineers, and interior designers. Work on visit site to mark-up as-built /existing services. Manage and maintain project content and source any additional content as required. Understand and ensure any changes in procedure and standards are effectively communicated to teams. Set up linked models and/or shared models and coordinate across disciplines. Daily model management administration and maintenance. Understand and execute government standards to implement during construction phase. Setting up clash detection model and write clash graphical reports. Manage and coordinate sensitive and confidential information.

Skills required: Use project specific document management software such as BIM360 & Autodesk docs, ACC – Autodesk Construction Cloud. Understand clash detection using Navisworks. Excel spreadsheets. Determination. Communication skills is essential. Team works and support. Managing of multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Software Proficiency: Auto Desk – Autocad. Auto Desk – Revit MEPF. Auto Desk – Navisworks. Microsoft Office. Own transport essential.
