Urgently looking for suitable candidates to work at the Gamsberg mine in the Northern Cape for 5 years (depending on work output/performance).

Residents from the Northern Cape and surrounding are preferable. Must be able to start immediately, must be of sober habits, must have mining experience.

Auto Electrician: Purpose of the Role: The purpose of the position is to maintain and repair auto-electrical equipment and sub-components in a safe and efficient manner

Suitable candidates will need to have the following minimum qualification and relevant experience:

Senior Certificate – Grade 12 or Equivalent

Apprenticeship/Trade Certificate

3 - 5 years post trade auto electrical experience on mining equipment. Machine specific experience on CAT equipment (777D, 777F,777G, 824). Machine-specific experience on Komatsu Equipment (WA800, WA430, 785-7, 825-5). Machine-specific experience in Volvo Equipment (A30E, L150F, EC290B).Machine-specific experience on Liebherr Equipment (984’s). Auto electrical experience on support equipment (LDVs and Trucks).

HME Mechanic: Purpose of the Role, The purpose of the position is to maintain and repair plant, equipment, and sub-components safely and efficiently.

Suitable candidates will need to have the following minimum qualification and relevant experience:

Requirements: Minimum requirements/experience. Senior Certificate - Grade 12 or Equivalent. Apprentice/ Trade Certificate. 2– 5 years’ mechanical experience on earthmoving equipment. Mechanical experience on Cat equipment (777D,777F,777G,824). Mechanical experience with Liebherr equipment will be advantageous. Ability to work under pressure.

Plant Foreman: Purpose of the Role: The purpose of the position is to assist with supervising Plant teams and processes to meet site requirements safely and efficiently Suitable candidates will need to have the following minimum qualification and relevant experience:

Requirements: Minimum requirements/experience. Senior Certificate - Grade 12 or Equivalent. Occupational Certificate: Diesel Mechanic/ Automotive Motor Mechanic or related. 2 - 5 years experience as a Plant Foreman or similar role. Experience in a mining environment will be an advantage.

Boilermaker Foreman: Purpose of the Role: The purpose of the position is to cut, assemble, fabricate, install and repair metal components, assemblies, and structures safely and efficiently.

Requirements: Minimum requirements/experience. Matric. Apprenticeship / Trade Certificate. Valid driver’s license. 5 -10 years’ mining industry experience. Earthmoving machine bucket repair experience (FEL, Excavator, and Dump Truck). Machine structural repair experience. Plant related experience will be an advantageous dit job description
