Promill Service Industry (Pty) Ltd recruits a Technical Sales Representative to assist its customers and support its business development.

Promill Service Industry is a small company, managed by its owners. We are focusing exclusively on the feed industry, throughout Southern Africa.

We are looking for someone to join our team as our sales representative, focusing exclusively on the feed milling/petfood manufacturing industry in

South Africa.

Promill SI has grown consistently over the last few years, from an initial focus on export markets, we now want to target specifically the SA local industry, starting with business to business within and around Gauteng.

This person will be in charge of:

Prospect and establish customer/suppliers relationship within the targeted segments in and around Gauteng. Important groundwork will be required here, as we have not yet focused on the SA business segments.

Contributing to the existing flow of business managed by Promill, from the construction of new turnkey feed plants or projects to the installation of new machines into existing lines, and supplies of spares and consumables.

Supporting our customers who are using our spares and machinery, involving our technicians and overseas support when necessary.

Proposing to existing customers various spares and services

Initiate new relationships with feed mills in South Africa

Identify and explore business opportunities related to products and services which can be supplied to customers

The ideal candidate must be self-driven, hands-on and will take this opportunity a success by showing he can be trusted and take on more responsibilities in various company projects.

He must be experienced with industrial and maintenance environments, either manufacturing or production but experience in the feed industry specifically is not a must. We will provide the necessary training and exposure to allow him to gain experience progressively.

We are looking for somebody with good people skills, who can easily relate to our customers and ourselves.

National travel is required on a regular basis.

The package offered will be business-related (incentive without cap) with a market-related fixed remuneration.

Business traveling costs and petrol will be to the company account, and the ideal candidate will need his / her own vehicle to travel in.

The ideal candidate will have extensive and successful sales experience in any production-focused industry, ideally in the feed/pet food/milling industries.
