Financial Manager, East London, Eastern Cape. Financial Manager / East London.

Minimum requirements: Qualified Accountant (Bcom Degree), CGMA and CIMA accredited. Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in a Financial Management role. Computer literacy; fully conversant with the current uses of information technology and use IT as a management tool. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Experience in preparation and finalisation of accounts in accordance with current South African regulations.

Knowledge of strategic financial planning including activity costing, benchmarking, and KPIs. Ability to analyze statistical information and interpret financial data to produce reports to be understood by non-financial managers.

Key Responsibilities Strategic, Planning, and Management: Provides leadership in the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives to enhance financial performance and business opportunities. Manage key relationships with external stakeholders e.g Customers, Suppliers, Bankers, Funders, and Auditors. Manage and take lead in funding decisions and applications.

CIPC, Manage Funding requirements for the group. Provide strategic management of accounting and finance functions. Implementation of Financial Policies and Procedures, Assess and evaluate the financial performance of the group with regard to both long-term and short-term plans. Asset register.

Accounting, Financial Analysis and Budgeting: Handling of Group full financial operation. Review/Assist with Budgets and variance reports. Oversee annual external audit and tax preparations. Internal controls and financial policies. Establish sound financial systems. Creditors Reconciliations. Debtors Reconciliations. Group cash flow reviews. Complete Trial Balance monthly 15th.

Governance and Reporting: Prepare and present EXCO/Board Reports. Participate in Group Meetings, Operational Meetings, and other committee meetings. Support other sub-committees.

Salary: Market-related plus various allowances.
