Duty Manager, East London, Eastern Cape.

Duty Manager (Junior) – East London.  This will be an initial 3 month fixed term contract with the possibility of a permanent position.  A live-In option is available.

Requirements: Matric/Grade 12. Min. 3 years experience as a Duty Manager within a Hotel/Lodge/B&B environment. Previous experience with the management of conferences and events is essential. Sound financial acumen required. Must have a valid driver’s license and own transport. Proficient in Microsoft as well as a reputable POS System.

Duties include: Manage department. Staff management, development, and training. Administration. Maintain customer service. Manage floor of the restaurant. Back of house liaison with Executive chef. Relate costing, cost of sales, and stock control duties. Manage banqueting, conferences, functions, and events. Forecast budgets for the department.

Salary: R8,000 per month use “Duty Manager” as a reference in the subject field.
