We are on the lookout for a junior financial assistant to join our accounts team. This position primarily entails the processing of finance-related data.
Your responsibilities would include Data capturing, processing invoices, and other finance-related tasks. Reconciliations of accounts, financial reporting, and VAT calculations. Communicating with suppliers about monthly transactions and requesting statements. Liaising with couriers. General administrative duties (filing, scanning, data entry, etc.)
We are looking for an individual who can work productively and efficiently in both a team environment and independently. A keen eye for detail, accuracy, honesty, accountability, and ethical behavior is an absolute must. The ideal candidate should have a high level of numerical and written proficiency. We are looking for someone who can think outside of the box and is a wizard with numbers and problem-solving.
This position would be greatly suited to you if you are an enthusiastic and fast learner, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude and willingness to always help, and take initiative.
Attitude trumps experience for us, though the experience is also an important factor. We work in a very fast-paced industry and there will be lots to learn.
The salary bracket for this position ranges from R 7,000 to R 16,000 based on experience and expertise in the field, it also offers great growth for people who have a desire to progress in their career.
