Sales Administrator, Bellville, Northern Suburbs. A successful national-based company with a very strong brand in the FMCG industry is looking to appoint a Sales Administrator for their Sales Team in the Cape Town branch. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 – 3 years experience within the FMCG / Hospitality industries combined with a strong administrative acumen, advanced Excel skills, and high attention to detail.

Responsibility You will be responsible but not limited to: Creating spreadsheets and reports as and when required. Assist with Sales Manager’s management meeting preparation. Update top customer list on monthly basis. Capture Quote / Sales order ratio information. Customer satisfaction monitoring and updates. Assist with Excel & Word spreadsheets about monthly sales, analysis, etc. Loading of contracts and broadsheets onto the system. Report on supplier promotions. Assist with contracting queries. Contribute positively towards the achievement of the sales team.

Daily sales reporting. Assist with retrieving data required to complete tender documents. Take part in stock take. Assist in the training and setting up of the targeted customers ‘initial shopping baskets, in tandem with the particular sales consultants.

Attributes: This role will suit an ambitious and competitive individual with a natural ability to negotiate and prospect. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and etiquette. Email Etiquette. Excellent at building and maintaining relationships with potential customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Understanding of sales performance metrics. Adaptability (might be required to do more than just the basic job description provided).

Education: Matric, IT Qualification on system administration will be adv. Must have ADVANCED MS EXCEL skills. MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook & Great Plains will be adv. 2 – 3 plus years experience in a similar role. FMCG / Hospitality industry experience. This position is available immediately!
