Aero-Engine Technician
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day
Salary: $14.50 Hourly for 40 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Summerside, Prince Edward Island (1 vacancy)
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not applicable
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Main Responsibility: Technician
Mechanical Maintenance Experience: Aircraft maintenance - general
Structural Repair Experience: Aircraft structures - general
Type of Aircraft Experience - Airplanes: Large jet airplanes
Work Setting / Industry Experience: Repair and overhaul facility
Aircraft Mechanic Skills: Visually inspect / assess and assist repairs to aircraft structures, systems and equipment
Additional Skills: Interpret blueprints/specifications/standards and written technical instructions
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence
Essential Skills: Reading text, Communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Continuous learning
Other Information:Responsible for manufacturing and assembly of clinical and commercial products.Follows blueprints, guidelines,and/or diagrams to ensure product specification levels are met
