Candidate Attorney Required, Sandton, Johannesburg. We require a Candidate Attorney to join our busy Sandton based firm. We practice in various areas of the law including conveyancing, notarial work, civil litigation, debt collection, labour law and deceased estates.

The successful candidate will be trained over a 2 year period in many different aspects of the law, but predominantly in the Conveyancing Department. We require an individual that shows initiative, is able to work independently, approach workload with a sense of urgency and respects the old adage “client is king”.

Requirements: LL.B. degree; Sound knowledge in Property Law and Conveyancing Practice; Attention to detail; Excellent communication skills; Ability to organise large amounts of information; Problem-solving and thinking outside the box; Administrative skills for a busy conveyancing department; Good interpersonal skills, be able to work in a team and must be able to work under pressure; Resilience is essential; Professional manner and ability to communicate well at all levels; Good Computer Literacy in MS Office Suites i.e. MS Word, Excel, Outlook.

Salary is fair and reasonable and in line with industry standards.
