Duties & Responsibilities: Provide screening tests. Provide baby & adult immunizations. Provide Primary Health Care e.g. minor ailments and wound care. Manage medical waste, ensure a safe environment and safety precautions are taken.

Manage emergencies. Counsel and advise patients on health information, weight management and refer patients to Pharmacists and other health professionals when appropriate. Plan and implement “Health Days” and other projects. Ensures SANC registration and indemnity up to date.

Experience & Qualification: Registration as Professional Nurse 3 year diploma in nursing or the 4 year degree. A minimum of 3 years practical experience in a broad range of nursing disciplines, preferably Community Health, Primary Health and Midwifery.
