You will work directly with the owner to create client websites, estimate quotes, and help the design team with development and guidance. Troubleshooting is a major part of the role.

The role is permanent (40 hours per week) and will not suit someone with their own clients who need constant attention.

Responsibilities And Skills Required: Minimum 5 years’ experience building WordPress websites (Minimum Requirement: show proof of at least 20 Wordpress websites you have built)

Required to work in a fast paced, project driven environment. Ability to work independently and explain difficult Web Development terms in English. Strong CSS Styling Knowledge (Responsive CSS, Browser based CSS). Medium-Strong JavaScript/jQuery Knowledge (move elements around page, write custom .each() functions, change content dynamically with JS/jQuery). Strong PHP with WordPress Knowledge (edit theme templates, change plugin behavior, understand WP codex and write small PHP addons to change website behavior/registrations/post behavior).

Strong Understanding of WordPress Themes and Plugins Maintenance (R & D for plugin updates, theme patches, etc.) Strong Understanding of the WordPress process and Working with WordPress Websites (backups, WP Security best practices, WordPress Staging vs. Live,). Strong Knowledge of Dev Ops (CloudFlare, DNS, Spinning up websites, Duplicator, MySQL, Website Caching, Browser Caching, Website Speed Optimization, terminal and SSH). Convert Design files into a WordPress websites using DIVI & creating custom style templates. Working with the DIVI theme a major advantage.
