Trade Sales Representative

 

 Our Client manufacture, market and sell some of   Ireland’s favourite FMCG products. A vacancy has arisen for the   role of Trade Sales Representative to report to the Call Centre Leader and   will be required to ensure the optimal volume.

 

 Principal Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

 

 

    · Shape/influence   the size of the customer’s order through up-selling

 Carry   out persuasive professional sales calls utilising a prescribed structure and   techniques

 Align   our clients product portfolio based on consumer/shopper needs

 Drive   distribution of new products

   Influence Outbound and Inbound customer orders to meet consumer need and   maximize volume potential

   Engage retailers by developing effective business relationships and providing   relevant category and brand       information

   Process sales orders accurately

 Close   distribution gaps through effective selling to the Retailer

   Understand the causes of non availability and recommend / action solutions

   Monitor and report on our products category activity

   Resolve customer queries on first call or agree call back in timely manner

 

 

 Experience

 Telephone sales experience   essential preferably in an FMCG environment

 Builds strong   relationships; understands retailer’s needs & seen as ‘trusted advisor’

 Focused on the business   outcome in dealings with retailers – builds the retailer relationship to   create value

 Excellent prioritisation   and time management skills

 

Educational Requirement

 Leaving Certificate   essential

 

Systems

 Proficient in using   Microsoft Office Suite, SAP CRM
