Zip International (Pty) Ltd is looking for a Carpenter/Joiner in Durban. Must have relevant experience and qualifications Specific tasks, functions and qualifications.

Trade test qualification as Carpenter/Joiner: N3 Minimum 3 years post qualification experience in high volume / stressful environment. 3 to 4 years Recognized Apprenticeship programme. Specific tasks and functions. Must have experience in installation of doors, cupboards, skirting boards, door surrounds, flooring etc.

General workshop fabrication. Good English communication (read, speak, write). Stand-by and overtime requirement including weekends (planned and on short notice). Able to read drawings, Team player, Quality control, Maintain of equipment, Maintain safe work environment, Medically fit for heights and confined spaces, Any other task given by warehouse manager, Housekeeping.

Physical activity: Able to perform required functions: walking, carrying, climbing, working on heights, confined spaces, good vision.
