The Deputy Manager is responsible for the complete hands-on supervision, control, service and comfort of all guests visiting the property, with an emphasis on Front of House. This pertains to all related functions involving controls, purchases and issues of stock relevant to the Deputy Manager’s service. The Deputy Manager will liaise very closely with the Executive Chef, Head Housekeeper and the General Manager, ensuring that all guest’s requests and their needs are satisfied. The Deputy Manager will cover the General Manager’s duties, should he be indisposed or on leave.

Must have experience in a similar role. A relevant qualification in the Hotel/Hospitality/Service industry is imperative.

Responsibility: Responsible for the comfort and personal care of the guests, with utmost attention to detail, of their needs. Preparation of service. Service of all Food and Beverages. Food & Beverage stock in bedrooms. Crystal/silver/crockery stock control. Cigar stock control. Cellar stock control and liquor orders. Beverage control books. End of month beverage invoicing. Driving of the Staff Bus. Management of the Conference and Recreation Centre operation. Overseeing of Security Personal and systems on the Estate. Overseeing of the Fire Alarm System on the Estate. Salary: RMarket Related.
