Assistant Manager-lending Suit Legal

Our client a leading Financial Services Company in Dublin City Centre are looking for an Assistant Manager for their Recovery Management Department. To start ASAP until March 2014. This role would ideally suit someone coming from a legal background

Duties:

    * Assist the team to manage the assigned loan portfolio
    * Develop strategy papers prior to presentation at GRMU Credit Committee.
    * Conduct due diligence on the loan portfolio and assist in formulating the optimal strategy for maximising loan recovery
    * Attend client meetings
    * Ensure the administration of the loan portfolio is carried out to the highest standards
    * Co-ordinate all regular management information and ad hoc report requests for the Team Leader
    * Provide mentoring support to other team members to both promote staff development and maximise team performance.

Requirement:

    * Ideally coming from a legal background
    * Cashflow / corporate lending
    * Previous experience of supporting the management of a portfolio
    * Strong financial analysis skills
    * An understanding of local tax, legal and accounting regulations which govern the corporate / cashflow lending sector.
    * Previous experience of supporting the management of a portfolio that includes investment and development property lending exposures would be beneficial.
    * Experience of working on cases involved in the insolvency process incorporating liquidation, receivership and examinership experience would be a distinct advantage.
    * Ability to communicate with influence using multiple approaches.
    * Ensures open lines of communication within the team.
    * Effectively organises self and others to perform tasks to a high performance standard
    * People management
